Privacy is really important to us at Odadeo, we want you to feel secure using the site as a place to talk about and share information about your children.  Thats why we have inbuilt privacy controls, which allow you complete control over who sees what information.  Dad’s profiles are set as public by default, but all of your children’s profiles are private.  This means that your kids status updates or pictures will not appear in the public domain.  You can watch the below video to see how to change the settings regarding privacy.

While the site is still in Private Beta, we would really love to hear your comments on privacy.  What works, what does not work.  We can then use your comments to make a fantastic and secure site for Dads to use.

Thanks for all of your help to date, enjoy using Odadeo.

Making a pledge using Odadeo is really simple.  The below video shows the process you use, and also how to pip your progress once you take a step towards completing that pledge.  You can also add tags, keywords which help other Dads find your pledge, and also to bring in content from around the site.

So take a look at the video, and then make your own pledge towards being a better Dad.

There has lots been going on behind the scenes at Odadeo recently, meaning that there are now lots more features available to the all of the Dads signed up.  The latest of which enables you to share your Flickr photos on your profile page.  All you need to do it edit your profile (the link appears on ‘you’ page) and fill in your Flickr username.  The site will then automatically add your latest Flickr upload to your profile, and display it on the left hand side of your page.  It means that should you wish, you can share your photos with everyone on Odadeo.

If you don’t have a Flickr account, its really easy to set up and its free for the basic user.  You can set one up here.
